The aim is to promote civic activity and public participation in democratic processes by encouraging throughout the project activities listening, understanding and action for the benefit of one's community and country.

Target group - young people till 30, socially active group of 30 - 40 and the pre-retirement age group - over 50 years old, as well as the society in general and everyone who will notice, listen, understand and receive the impetus to act. The project will contribute to intergenerational communication and cooperation by involving people of different ages in joint activities to strengthen democracy.

Key activities envisage educating the population in face-to-face conversations and on social networks in information campaigns such as “Conversations on what matters”, “Be active - participate!” and in the podcast debates cycle “Come here, let’s talk”. A political education workshop is planned with 90 participants to activate their views and participation. The magazine "A12" will publish 19 stories “I and Us” that will cover the success stories of the associations, analyze their challenges and find positive solutions. It is planned to involve 35 organizations in the development of strategic documents. The project will unite the Latvian diaspora in Bergen, involving opinions, proposals and formation of the civil society in Latvia. 

As a result of the project, the target group will develop an initiative to listen, understand and act for the benefit of the civil society, promote critical thinking, understanding advantages of a democratic state, as well as open civil society on a human scale. The target group will also be encouraged to identify their needs, express their views tolerantly and participate in the growth of their community, county and country.
